After the news about the oil spill in Cordova and the city of Lapu Lapu, local tourist refrain from going to the beach. However, it does not stop the local tourist to look for alternative solution. I am one of the local tourists who went to Cordova for some rest and relaxation at that time. My friend suggested that we will look for alternative place and ended up in Villa Asela Garden Resort.
Location and how to get there
It is located in Brgy. Bangbang Cordova, Cebu. Your landmark is the newly open Gaisano store. Trikes and “tricycad” are available at the corner of the street that you can hire to take you to the garden resort.
Rooms and cottages
Rates would vary depending on the type of rooms and cottages. For us, we rented the small cottage for daytime use that only cost P200. While non-air-conditioned rooms would cost P800/night and air-conditioned rooms will cost you around P1300-P2500/night depending on the type as well as capacity of the room.
P50 pesos for 13 years old and above while P40 pesos for below 12 years old.
It is the same as the garden resorts that you can find in Talisay and Minglanilla. The kiddie pools are crowded since it was Sunday and family day for everyone. Most of the guests are bunch of families or group of friends. It is still quiet good for family weekend getaways. What I like the most is their lifeguards that are visible and active.
For more information about the resort and reservations, you may contact them at (032) 496-7999, or 09328754615. They can also be reached by sending an email to email@example.com or through their Facebook page.
