Itinerary: Puerto Princesa and El Nido Palawan

Oh, Palawan! Everyone’s dream destination! So, how you can make the most of your trip when you have limited and want to visit both Puerto Princesa and El Nido? We will help you find the answer to that question. When Kate and I booked our tickets to Palawan last year, we also asked the same question or face the same dilemma rather. So, we’ve mastered the art of research not just looking for multiple blog post, forums, but also asking people we knew who has been to Palawan.

Hopefully our six-day itinerary will help you enjoy both tourist destinations in Palawan.

March 13-15

Day 1 (March 13)
Day 2 (March 14)
Day 3 (March 15)
10:30-12:30 flight to Puerto Princesa from Cebu 9:00am – 4pm Island hopping courtesy of Northern Hope Tours
9:00 -12nn Tour the town center and had lunch at the rooftop of A Place To Remember
2:00-5:30 traveling to Brgy. Corong2x, El Nido (Our resort is located in Brgy. Corong2x. You may check it out here. 5:30 Sunset viewing at Maremegmeg Beach 12-1:30 Quick visit to Yaposan Beach
6:30 Dinner at Four Seasons Resort 8:00pm onwards Dinner and ice cream hunting 2:30 – 8:30 pm traveling back to Puerto Princesa

March 14-18

Day 1 (March 16)
Day 2 (March 17)
Day 3 (March 18)
6:00 am breakfast 6:00 am breakfast 6am breakfast
7:30 – 8:30 traveling to Sabang, Palawan for underground river tour 7:30 am – 3pm Honda Bay island hopping 7:30 – 10 am continue our DIY city tour (visited pasalubong center; Baker’s Hill, and environmental conservation center)
9:00 -11:00 underground river tour 4pm back at La Prima Residences 10:30 am van pick up going to airport
12: 00 traveling back to Puerto Princesa 5pm went to Robinsons Mall and had an early dinner 11:00 am onwards at the aiport back to Cebu
1:00 pasalubong shopping and DIY city tour (visited Robinsons; attended a mass at the cathedral) 6pm back in La Prima Residences
6:00 pm back to La Prima Residences
  • We’re not able to include a visit to Nacpan Beach in El Nido though it’s highly recommended due to limited time. But definitely we’re going to check it out if we have a chance to go back.
  • You can do a DIY for city tour in Puerto Princesa.

    Hi! mangutana lang unta q if possible ba nga ma tour both puerto princesa ug el nido sa 2 days ra? like underground river sa 1st day and then 9PM onwards anah kay travel na pa-adto El Nido.. sa 2nd day island tour sa El Nido unya pgka 5PM onwards travel balik na pa Puerto Princesa.. limited time ra mn gd kaau ang na book nga date sa flight..

      Yeah, possible ra siya. Besides, half day raman ang underground river especially kung morning mo inyong schedule. Last trip sa Roro bus kay 6pm going to El Nido from Puerto Princesa but ang Cherry Bus kay 8pm. You may refer to this link for more info: http://www.elnidopalawan.com/go.html
