Located at the heart of Bolabog Beach in Malay Aklan, this simple abode is a home to kite surfers and everyone who are looking for beach front accommodation away from the white beach.
We were looking for affordable place to stay in Boracay Island as my sister and I are joining a tech conference. With a very limited budget, we browse our go-to website for best deals. And she found Surfer’s Home Boracay.
It only cost P900/night good for 3 persons with free breakfast. It was a great deal considering that its moonsoon season at Bulabog Beach and the original price per night is P3,000.
Surfer’s Home Boracay is a beachfront accommodation with a total of 9 rooms. It’s owned by a German national but managed by his Pinoy staff.
None of the rooms has air con, but the sea breeze coming from the beach is enough to keep us cool from day to night.
I like the ambiance coz there are lots of greens surrounding the place. There’s a mini restaurant that opens at 6am.
Another thing, they change the towels every day and clean the bathroom without telling them to do so.
Location wise, it’s best to say that its nearer to Station 1, but less than 10 minutes ride to D’Mall. But, you have to walk around 10-15 minutes depending on your pace from the hi-way. Chartered tricycle is also available for P100-150/ride if you’re too tired to walk.
You know that I really love (Bulabog Beach) this side of the island because there are cafeteria’s and sari-sari stores. You can buy basic commodities for a lesser price compared to buying at the convenience store in White Beach station 2.
